The purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization is to unite the parents and teachers of our school, to acquaint parents with school operations, to assist with school activities, and to provide financial support. 

 

Primary fundraisers include: the PTO Card Party which is held annually in November, kuchen sales, Box Tops for Education contests, Hacienda Pay-Back night, Spirit Sales, and the Chinese auction at the end of the school year on Fun Day.  The money raised from these fundraisers is utilized primarily for the teachers and the students at St. Philip school.  The PTO gives each teacher start-up money prior to the beginning of the school year.  In addition, the PTO provides funds for additional learning materials, playground equipment, field trips, etc. that are not included in the school budget.

 

Meetings are held on the second Monday of August, October, November, January, February, March and May.
